After the Travel Classics conference concludes in Auckland on Sunday, pick up your maui motorhome on Monday and head south. The Pacific Coast Highway offers spectacular views along the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. It links the Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Eastland with Auckland in the north and Hawke's Bay in the south. Highlights include Cathedral Cove on the Coromandel Peninsula and famed Hot Water Beach. Stay overnight at nearby Mercury Bay Estate, the northernmost maui Winery Haven with stunning views over Mercury Bay. East Cape is memorable for the series of small Maori settlements along the main highway; beautifully carved meeting houses. Visit Hawke's Bay; more than 40 vineyards are clustered around the river plains behind Hastings, and most have a café or restaurant. Spend the night at Linden Estate, one of the oldest vineyards in the area and part of the Winery Haven network.

Fly from Auckland to Christchurch to collect your maui campervan right from the airport. Head south through Mackenzie Country tussock land towards Mount Cook, via the glacier-blue lakes of Pukaki and Tekapo. The highest peak in New Zealand, Mt Cook is the star of the show in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, which offers a variety of walking trails taking in the mountains and glacier lakes. Continue further south to historic Cromwell, New Zealand's fastest growing wine region, known for its fine Pinot Noir. Nearby Bannockburn is home to Carrick Wines, part of maui Winery Haven network. Overlooking the spectacular Bannockburn Inlet and surrounded by the Cairnmuir and Carrick mountain ranges it is a tranquil spot to spend a night. Finish your journey in Queenstown. It's the place to source almost any kind of adventure, while also a destination for luxury experiences - gourmet food and wine, spa treatments and leisurely games of golf.
