Day One Chimney Bluffs State Park

Towering 150 feet above Lake Ontario in the Town of Huron, Wayne County, NY these bluffs, which are a large clay drumlin formed six to ten thousand years ago by a glacier, then eroded by waves and weather are now part of 597 acres acquired by New York State in 1963 to create Chimney Bluffs State Park. Hike the trails or walk the shoreline, either one will leave you awestruck! Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the beauty Nature provided. This park offers several hikes and is a photographer's paradise. The western half of the park has mowed grass trails through fields and scrubland. The eastern half is wooded with 6 to 8 foot-wide forest trails. The bluffs face Lake Ontario with a narrow dirt trail along their edge. The highest point of land is in the northeast part of the park.

Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum

The Old Sodus Lighthouse is a three story stone block structure. The first floor of the Museum Lighthouse dedicated to Maritime and Regional history. The tower is about 50 feet high and we invite our visitors to climb the 52 circular steps into the lens room to see the beautiful vista East along the Lake Ontario shoreline.

George Eastman House is the world's oldest photography museum, founded in 1947. The museum has a collection of over 400,000 photographs from 14,000 photographers dating from the beginnings of the medium (including the largest collection of daguerreotypes outside of France). It also features 16,000 items of camera technology, 26,000 motion picture titles and 3.5 million publicity stills and posters. The Eastman House boasts one of the world's most comprehensive libraries of photographic books, manuscripts, and journals. Hollywood personalities who have recently visited George Eastman House to receive an award or as a visiting artist include Jeff Bridges, Tony Curtis, Willem Dafoe and Meryl Streep.

The Corning Museum of Glass is home to the world's most comprehensive and celebrated collection of glass, with more than 40,000 objects reflecting 3500 years of glassmaking history. Watch glass come to life at the Hot Glass Show, and get inspired to Make Your Own Glass during a 45-minute hands-on workshop. The museum is currently undergoing a $64 million expansion set to open in the spring of 2015. The entire museum will remain open during the expansion. We have been farming organically since 1981, and have been certified organic since 1984. We recently learned that we were the first certified organic dairy farm in the country! We sold our organic milk into the conventional market for 20 years until we joined CROPP Cooperative and started shipping milk to Organic Valley in August 2001. No chemicals are ever used on our fields, and no antibiotics, hormones, or synthetic wormers are ever used on our animals.

Since 1987 Russell and Rita Kellogg have been an established goat dairy. In 1994 we became a goat cheese processing plant. Tour the farm enter the goat barn which houses 157 head of dairy goats.
