Vancouver Foodie Tours - World's Best Food Truck Tour
Tour description: Four courses, five tastings and nine stories. Visit some of Vancouver's hottest food trucks with local experts, Vancouver Foodie Tours. For more information, click here.
Notes and what to wear/bring: Your appetite. Comfortable walking shoes and a rain jacket/umbrella depending on the weather. There may be members of the general public also on this tour. The tour may be cancelled in the event of very poor weather.
Story angle: Food trucks have been huge news in Vancouver since they burst onto the scene in 2010. The city now boasts more than 104 food carts and trucks, and is among North America's top street food cities in terms of numbers of options and quality of the offerings.

Context Walking Tour - Made in BC, A Canadian Cornucopia on Granville Island
Meeting location: Rosewood Hotel Georgia - lobby
Tour description: Hop the Aquabus ferry and cross False Creek to reach Granville Island. Once a mere sandbar, Granville Island was a declining industrial site before an urban revival in the mid-1970s made it a cultural and gastronomic hub with a large public market, brewery, hip caf™s and fine restaurants. Expertly led by a Context Tours chef docent, you’ll be introduced to Granville Island's top purveyors.
Notes and what to wear/bring: Good walking shoes and warm coat. Umbrella in the event of rain.
Story angle: Context Travel just launched cultural walks in Vancouver in summer 2015. All tours are led by docents (chefs, urbanists, historians).

Cycle City Tours - Vancouver Craft Beer & Bike Tour
Meeting location: Rosewood Hotel Georgia - lobby
Tour description: Join Cycle City Tours as they go "behind the brew" in Vancouver's growing craft beer scene. Along the beautiful ride through some of Vancouver's most historic and interesting neighbourhoods, you'll visit three distinct breweries and sample nine unique and tasty beers in addition to plenty of food pairings at Belgard Kitchen. Perfect for the novice and beer nut alike, you’ll have the opportunity to tour brewing facilities and talk to the characters that bring these establishments to life.
Notes and What to wear/bring: This tour will be cancelled in the event of rain. Please dress warmly and comfortably for cycling.
Story angle: Thanks to a recent change in liquor laws, Vancouver is undergoing a renaissance in craft brewing that is unmatched in North America.
